Skyline RTA Review

Hi Guys,

Here is a quick review of the Skyline RTA.

Please note this review is based on a clone, as the originals are like hens teeth.

I was given this as a present from a good friend over on the POTV forums, and have been using it for over 3 months now, and it is in daily use.

It is designed as a MTL device, although it has different air inserts to change the airflow. For me I completely removed all inserts and opened the air flow right up and it gives a restrictive lung inhale, which is perfect for me!

It is a 22mm atomizer made of 316 SS, not sure who this clone is from, but it is great quality. Buttery smooth threads, decent O Rings, decent post screws.

From left to right: base, chimney, juice control, tank, securing ring
Great deck, easy to build, and the hole in the centre is where the different air flow inserts go

The tank holds 4ml juice, and has a very nice top filling system capable of being used with all types of bottles.

That nut in the centre, is actually adjusted by turning the top juice control, clockwise shuts it off, and anti clockwise opens it back up.

Closed Juice Control

This device is a game changer for me, I have exclusively used RDAs for a long time now, and this has opened my eyes back up to the world of RTAs.

Flavour is phenomenal, mainly thanks to the design of the tank, and its great wicking capabilities.

Has no issues with the thickest of VG liquids, it has never leaked on me, and is very easy to fill up.

I tend to use a 0.5ohm build in here at about 40w, and I can chain vape the whole tank with no dry hits.

If you want to know how to build on this then I would recommend checking out my tutorial here: Skyline Tutorial/

If I was forced to find a con it is a struggle, the only annoying part and this is through sheer laziness is to keep closing off the juice flow, unscrewing the ring, removing the juice control and filling it up, replacing the juice control, replacing the ring and opening the juice flow up again.

The whole process takes around 30 seconds so is hardly a ball ache.

In summary this is a solid RTA which is well worth checking out.

Well designed, easy to build and wick, and great flavour.

I would give this a 9/10 which is crazy for a clone, and would 100% replace it if I ever lost it, its too good not to!
